So, a little while ago I entered a giveaway on The Bode Boutique, not expecting much. As you can expect, I was very surprised to see an email a few days after entering saying that I'd won!
The prize was a beauty box from a company called Betrousse, who offer kits filled with full-sized products at discounted prices for us to test. The giveaway actually introduced me to the company and I will certainly be using them in the future.
The kit wasn't the one I was expecting, but it's still filled with interesting products from brands I have never heard of.
In the box was:
Saffron London Cracking Nail Polish I'm actually not a huge fan of cracking nail polishes. I have tried them just for the novelty, but I usually don't bother painting my nails as I don't like to draw attention to them (I'm self conscious of my hands).
Papier Poudre gift pack of three booklets Oil blotting paper has always caught my eye but I've never wanted to buy it because I didn't think it was a necessity. Having used this a couple of times, I do believe it makes a difference and it is a useful product to keep in my purse. The paper soaks up excess oil while leaving a thin layer of powder on the skin, resulting in a matte finish. The three booklets should last me quite a while, so I'm very happy with this product.
Kesari Radieuse Anti-Age I can't really say much about this product because I'm nineteen years old and therefore have no use for anti-ageing products. Maybe I'll keep it in a drawer for a few years and review it then - haha.
Cupcake Organic The Frankincense & Orange Day Cream This product claims to protect and repair dry/mature skin. My skin definitely isn't mature, but it can get extremely dry in some places. Right now it is behaving itself, but when my eczema returns, I'll give this a go.
Essyta Cosmetics Body Moisturizing Lotion for all skin types Body lotions are something I've been getting more and more into so I'm looking forward to using this.
Yves Rocher Organic Refreshing Gel Cleanser I actually had my eye on this before my box arrived. I've never used a gel cleanser before and when I saw this I was instantly curious.
Vera Valenti Valetta Eyeshadow Pink I think I probably have every single colour of eyeshadow you can get, but I love collecting more. Especially as some in my collection are not very good quality.
Arganti 100% Pure Argan Oil This product can be used on skin and hair, but I will probably use it for my hair. As I'm constantly saying, my hair is extremely damaged for bleaching, leaving the ends dry and straw-like. I'm always looking for products that will smooth the ends and make them more hair-like. After a quick Google search, I learnt that argan oil is supposed to restore elasticity and repair split ends, which is exactly what I need in a product.
Together, these products come to £75, but the kit it on sale for £19 at betrousse.co.uk. I strongly recommend my readers to check them out if you haven't already.
And to Jessie at The Bode Boutique, thank you very much for the giveaway! ;)
